Replacing the battery for the emergency call function (Audi A4 B7)

1. On the front passenger side, remove the A-pillar trim and fold back the carpet in the footwell.

2. Press the clamps (arrows in the illustration) and remove the cover of the mounting block. Remove the communication control unit from the mounting block without disconnecting the electrical wiring from it.



3. Remove the screws (see illustration) and remove the battery cover on the communication control unit.



4. Disconnect the connector (1 in the illustration) and remove the backup batteries.



5. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
