2. Turn the wheels to the straight-ahead position.
3. Disconnect the negative cable from the battery.
4. Release the steering column lock, extend it as far as possible and lift it as high as possible.
5. Unscrew one of the bolts (1 in illustration 18.1), turn the steering wheel half a turn and unscrew the second bolt (1). Disconnect the airbag connector (4) and remove it. Place the airbag with the cover facing down.
6. Unscrew the bolt (6 in illustration 18.1) and remove the steering wheel.

7. Installation is performed in the reverse order of dismantling the components. When attaching the electrical wiring, make sure that the connectors are securely fixed, the wires do not touch the gas generators and are not pinched. If error codes appear after installation, erase them.
