The single lock consists of a control unit and various adjustment elements with built-in electric motors.
The adjustment elements in the doors are built into the lock and have two electric motors accordingly. One electric motor locks the door, the second one locks the door drive. In this case, the doors cannot be opened from the inside. The door adjustment elements can only be replaced together with the corresponding locks.
The adjustment elements of the fuel cap and the trunk lid/tailgate have one electric motor each and can be replaced separately.
After an accident involving an airbag, the single lock control unit automatically unlocks all locked doors.
The single lock control unit is located in front of the driver's seat under the carpet.
