A single lock consists of a control unit and various adjustment elements with built-in electric motors.
Adjusting elements in the doors are built into the lock and have two electric motors respectively. One electric motor blocks the door, the second blocks the door drive. In this case, the doors cannot be opened from the inside. Door setting elements can only be replaced together with the corresponding locks.
The tank lid and tailgate/tailgate adjusters each have one electric motor and can be replaced separately.
After an accident involving an airbag, the single lock control unit automatically unlocks all locked doors.
The single lock control unit is located in front of the driver's seat under the floor mat.
