Removal
1. Wet the windshield with water.
2. Turn on the windshield wiper briefly and turn it off with the switch. The windshield wiper stops in the extreme position.
3. Mark the position of the wipers on the glass with the arms correctly installed, for example, using adhesive tape.
4. Open the hood.
5. Use a screwdriver to pry up and remove the cover (3), (1) – brackets; (5) – spoiler grille.

6. Loosen the nut (4) by about 2 turns, without completely unscrewing it. Move the lever (2) slightly so that it separates from the axle. Loosen the nut completely and remove the lever from the axle. A special puller, such as HAZET 1966-05, can also be used for this purpose.
Caution: If the lever is difficult to remove, use a wrench to pry it off and carefully remove it.
Installation
1. Check that the windshield wiper motor is in the extreme position. If necessary, briefly turn on the motor and turn it off with the switch.
2. Install the arm on the wiper shaft and align it using the mark applied in the form of adhesive tape. You can also align the arm by the distance between the brush and the spoiler grille, measuring it from the right top of the wiper
Sedan/Station wagon
- a = 26 mm
- b = 45 mm
Cabriolet:
- a = 24±5 mm
- b = 35±5 mm

3. Screw on the nut and tighten it by hand.
4. Check the extreme position of the levers. To do this, close the hood, wet the glass with water and briefly turn on the windshield wiper. The windshield wipers should return to the adjusted extreme position and should not go beyond the edge of the glass. If necessary, unscrew the nuts and adjust the position of the windshield wipers again.
5. Tighten the nuts to torque 21 Nm.Reinstall the lever covers.
