Withdrawal
1. Moisten the windshield with water.
2. Turn on the wiper briefly and turn it off with the switch. In this case, the wiper stops in the extreme position.
3. Mark the position of the brushes on the glass with the levers correctly installed, for example with adhesive tape.
4. Open the hood.
5. Pry with a screwdriver and remove the cover (3), (1) - staples; (5) - Spoiler grille.
6. Loosen the nut (4) about 2 turns without completely unscrewing it. Slightly move the lever (2) so that it separates from the axis. Loosen the nut completely and remove the lever from the axle. A special puller can also be used for this purpose, eg HAZET 1966-05.
Warning: If the lever is hard to remove, pry it off with a wrench and carefully remove it.
Installation
1. Check that the wiper motor is in the end position. If necessary, briefly turn on the motor and turn off the switch.
2. Install the lever on the wiper shaft and set it with a label applied in the form of adhesive tape. You can also set the lever to the distance between the brush and the spoiler grill, measuring it from the right top of the cleaner
Sedan/Station wagon
- a = 26 mm
- b = 45 mm
Cabriolet:
- a = 24±5 mm
- b = 35±5 mm
3. Screw on the nut and tighten it by hand.
4. Check the extreme position of the levers. To do this, close the hood, moisten the glass with water and briefly turn on the wiper. The wipers should return to their adjusted end position and should not extend beyond the edge of the glass. If necessary, loosen the nuts and re-adjust the position of the wipers.
5. Torque tighten the nuts 21 Nm. Reinstall the lever covers.
