Checking the tightness of the injectors (Audi A4 B6)

1. Using the wires included in the VAG 1594 A measuring kit, short-circuit contacts 1 and 65 (1 and 80 in ALT and ALZ engines). In this case, one end of the fuel pump relay coil is shorted to ground.

2. Turn on the ignition.

3. The fuel pump must work. Check the tightness of the injectors, to do this, inspect them: with the engine running, no more than 1-2 drops of fuel should come out of each injector per minute.

4. If fuel loss exceeds this value, turn off the fuel pump by removing the jumpers on the test device. Replace the faulty injector.
