1. Using the wires that are included in the set of measuring instruments VAG 1594 A, bridge contacts 1 and 65 (1 and 80 in ALT and ALZ engines). In this case, one of the ends of the fuel pump relay coil closes to ground.
2. Turn on the ignition.
3. The fuel pump must be running. Check the tightness of the nozzles, to do this, inspect them: with the engine running, no more than 1-2 drops of fuel should come out of each nozzle per minute.
4. If fuel loss exceeds this value, turn off the fuel pump by removing the jumpers on the tester. Replace defective injector.
