Replacing the cabin ventilation filter (30,000 km) (Audi A4 B5)

1. If provided, the filter is installed under the panels near the windshield, on the left on right-hand drive models and on the right on left-hand drive models.

2. Turn on the windshield wipers, turn on the ignition and turn off the ignition to stop the wiper blades in the center position.

3. Remove the panel fasteners from the windshield by turning them as needed (Fig. 22.3).



4. Pull the rubber seal off the corresponding edge of the engine shield (Fig. 22.4).



5. Remove the filter from the housing (Fig. 22.5).



6. Wipe the filter housing clean and install a new filter. Secure the filter and install the cover. The new filter is installed with the "OBEN" mark facing up.

7. The rest of the procedure is the reverse of removal.
