Order of execution
1. Are the hoses at the radiator and engine tight, as well as in the heating system?
2. Cracks in the hoses? Knead them to see if the hoses have become hard and brittle - in this case, replace.
3. By stretching the hoses, can you determine if there are any leaks caused by rodent bites?
4. Are the ends of the hoses loosely attached to the fittings?
5. Are the hose clamp tension bolts tight?
6. Corroded hose clamps may suddenly fail to withstand pressure while driving and at full operating pressure in the cooling system. Replace!
7. In the workshop, the tightness of the cooling system is checked with a special manual air pump with a pressure gauge.
8. This device is installed on the opening of the expansion tank and then pressurized to 1 bar.
9. If the dial does not decrease within one or two minutes, then the cooling system is sealed.
