Removal
Caution: Electrically powered exterior mirror: Unscrew the mirror base and disconnect the connector directly at the base.
Remove the inner door trim.
Release the door inner parts holder. To do this, loosen the bolts at the rear without unscrewing them. Unscrew the screws at the front and pull the holder back a little.
Unfasten the cable and remove it from the holder with the installation handle.


Tilt the mirror 90° upwards. Mark the position of the screws with a felt-tip pen and remove the mirror.
Carefully press the mirror glass with a flat plastic spatula, first from below "1", and then from above "2".
Installation
Install and secure the outside mirror. When doing so, maintain the attachment points marked during removal, otherwise the viewing angle will change. Attachment points: driver's door; front hole; rear external opening; right door; front and back bottom opening.
Newer models have only one hole.
Lay the cable in the holder and secure the holder. Make sure that the cable does not twist.
Install the interior door trim.
