Removal
If present, remove the starter pull handle. To do this, press the ledge with a screwdriver from below through the hole and remove the handle.
Loosen the 8 mm cover mounting bolts with a socket wrench. Bolts "1" are only found on vehicles with a starter pull.
Pull the cover out of the clamps "2" and holders "3".
Pull the inner door seal off the flange in the area of the lower trim of the front pillar.
Loosen the 2 screws securing the engine compartment hood release lever.
Remove the bottom Phillips head screw.
Installation
Install the lower left trim and screw it together with the hood opening handle.
Press the sealing strip.
Insert the lower cover through the starter rod into the rear holders and screw it on.
Install and snap the starter pull handle into place.
