Removal
Remove the inner door trim.
Unfasten the door opening cable from the inside.
For electric windows, disconnect the connector.
Lower the window a little.
Mark the installation position. To do this, outline the heads of the 4 fastening bolts with a scriber.
Remove the bolts holding the door frame and then lift it upwards.
Installation
Before installation, check the adjustment of the door frame.
Insert the door frame, tighten the bolts without tightening.
Align the door frame by closing the door (the window is open). Have the assistant press the door from the outside against the lid or the rack. This will compensate for the springback of the rubber seals. Tighten the 4 mounting bolts in this position.
Check the installation position of the door frame. The section shows the driver's door.
The outer lip "7" of the seal must fit against the pillar and against the roof trim "3" along the entire contour.
The outer lip "8" of the glass seal "4" must not protrude beyond the roof trim "3".

- d = 8.1+1 mm
Additionally shown parts: 1 - seal flange; 2 - door frame; 5 - window glass seal; 6 - internal door seal.
Attach the door opening cable from the inside.
Install the interior door trim.
