Removal and installation the gearbox (Audi 80 B2)

Removal and installation of a five-speed gearbox is carried out in the same way as a four-speed gearbox. See section "Four-speed gearbox". To make it easier to remove the gearbox, you can remove the starter. In addition, it is necessary to disconnect the wires of the upshift indicator - the economizer - from the gearbox.
