1. The installation details of the ATF lines and radiator are shown in the illustrations.

6.1a. ATF lines and radiator for 3.0L models with 6-speed automatic transmission:

1 - Bolt, 25 Nm; before tightening, push the tube in with your hand until it stops;
2, 3 - Bolt, 10 Nm;
4 - Bolt, 10 Nm: Before tightening, press the tube by hand until it stops;
5 - Thermostat; tighten the union nuts securing the A TF lines to the thermostat with a torque of 20 Nm; use new o-rings;
a, b - ATF pipe, use new sealing rings.

5, 10, 12, 17 - Sealing rings, subject to replacement;
6 - ATF line clamps, with union nuts;
7 - Bolt, depends on the variant;
8 - ATF lines, with union nuts;
9 - Union nuts, depending on the variant;
11 - Temperature regulator;
14 - ATF Lines;
15 - Bolt M6 (8 Nm) or M8 (20 Nm);
16 - Bolt, 20 Nm; before tightening, push the tube in with your hand until it stops.

2 - ATF preheater;
3, 6, 18 - Bolt, 8 Nm;
4, 21 - ATF lines;
5, 19, 22 - Bolt, 8 Nm; before tightening, push the tube in with your hand until it stops;
7 - Holder;
8 - ATF radiator;
9, 14, 16, 17, 23 - Sealing rings, subject to replacement;
10 - A TF line clamps, with union nuts;
11 - Bolt, depends on the variant;
12 - ATF lines with union nuts;
13 - Union nuts, depending on the variant;
15 - Temperature regulator;
20 - Bolt, 25 Nm; before tightening, push the tube in with your hand until it stops.


The ATF radiator installation details are also provided in Section 3 Chapter 3.

2. ATF pipes can be secured to the ATF radiator either with union nuts (with a force of 20 Nm), or with clamps and bolts (10 Nm).

3. To prevent chafing of the upper ATF tube (1 in the illustration) about the side member (4), it is protected by a toothed ring (1) just below the thermostat (2).
