1. The details of installing the stabilizer and its strut are shown on illustrations 1.1a.

2. Place the car on a lift, remove the front wheel and secure the brake disc with one bolt.

3. On models with a suspension height sensor, loosen the nut (2 in the illustration).

4. Unscrew the bolt (2 in illustration 7.7 Chapter 7), disconnect the drive shaft from the main gear (3). Unscrew the nut (4).

5. Unload the suspension (see Section 2). Unscrew the bolt (1 in illustration 7.7 Chapter 7), slightly lower the steering knuckle, pull out the bolt (4) and remove the stabilizer bar, avoiding damage to the drive shaft boot.

6. Installation is carried out in reverse order. On models with automatic headlight leveling, use the basic setting.

7. Place the car on a lift.

8. Remove all sound insulation panels under the engine compartment (see Section 19 of Chapter 1).

9. Remove the bolts (2 in illustration 7.7 Chapter 7) on both sides.

10. If present, remove the cover (1 in the illustration) damper (2) and unscrew the bolt. Remove the damper from the stabilizer clamp.



11. Remove the bolts (1-4 in the illustration) and remove the stabilizer (5).

12. Installation is carried out in reverse order. The stabilizer and its bushings should not be lubricated. The installation position of the bushings is shown in the illustration.

At first, tighten the stabilizer mounting bolts only by hand. They should be fully tightened only after the damper has been installed.
