Installation location: The "Y6" automatic transmission selector position indicator is integrated into the instrument cluster. If the automatic transmission selector position indicator is faulty, the instrument cluster must be replaced.
Used selector sensors of the gearbox "J587"
Installation location: the gear selector sensor control unit "J587" "pos. 2" is attached to the functional unit of the "arrow" shift mechanism.
Selector lock solenoid "N110"
Installation location: automatic transmission selector lock magnet "N110" "Pos. 1" is fixed with clamps on the gear shift mechanism.
Selector position switch P "F305"
Installation location: consisting of 2 reed switches "1" and "2", the selector position switch P "F305" is installed on the board "B" of the automatic transmission selector lock magnet "N110" "pos. A". The selector position switch P "F305" can only be replaced together with the automatic transmission selector lock solenoid "N110".
Transmission Oil Temperature Sensor 2 "G754"
For certain engine variants, the 7-speed dual-clutch transmission 0B5 (S tronic) is equipped with an additional transmission oil temperature sensor 2 "G754" to monitor the temperature of the gear transmission oil (transmission oil (MTF)).
Installation location: Transmission oil temperature sensor 2 "G754" is screwed in the area of the oil pan on the gearbox. Various versions and installation locations depending on the design.
KP-Y2 selector position display panel&
Installation location: the automatic transmission selector position indicator panel "Y26" "Pos. 1" is fixed with clamps in the center console.
Kickdown Switch "F8"
The engine control unit stores a specific value from the accelerator pedal position sensor "G79" and the accelerator pedal position sensor 2 "G185".
Installation location: The gas pedal position sensors are integrated into the "arrow" gas pedal module. If the gas pedal position sensor is faulty, the gas pedal module must be replaced.
