Unscrew bolts -1 - and -2- and remove right chain tensioner.
Press the slider of the drive chain tensioner in -direction of the arrow- and secure the tensioner using the locking pin -T40071-. Loosen bolt -1 - chain drive drive sprocket by approx. 1 turn.
Tilt the drive sprocket with the bearing housing slightly to the side and remove the right drive chain in the upward direction.
Installation
If the tension element has been removed from the chain tensioner, consider the installation position: the hole in the bottom of the housing faces the chain tensioner, the piston faces the tension bar. Replace bolts that were overtightened. Risk of damage to valves and piston crowns. When turning the camshaft, not one piston of the crankshaft should be in "TDC". Install the camshaft drive chain on the left according to the markings made during removal, as shown in the figure. Press the slider of the drive chain tensioner on the left downwards and secure the tensioner using the locking pin -T40071-. Guide the right drive chain past the drive chain sprocket bearing housing, paying attention to the markings made during removal. Tighten the bolt -1- of the bearing housing. Remove locking pin -T40071-. Insert the chain tensioner into the cylinder head on the right and install the camshaft drive chain. Tighten bolts -1- and -2-. Installation in reverse order: install the drive chains on the camshafts. Install the lower drive chain cover.
