Remove the shock absorber fork. Unscrew the nut -1. and remove the casing "2".

Unscrew the "arrow" bolts from the shaft with flange/gearbox. Remove the brake line and electric wires from the holder on the hub bearing housing. Turn the hub so that one of the holes for the wheel bolt is at the top.

Attach support "T10149" "1" using the wheel mounting bolt to the wheel hub. Secure the hub bearing housing using support "T10149" "1" on the powertrain lift.

Disconnect the bolt connection "1". Flaring of the splines in the hub bearing housing using a chisel, etc. is not allowed! Remove both pins of the upper suspension arms "2" from the hub bearing housing.

Installation
Installation in reverse order. In this case, it is necessary to observe the sequence of tightening the bolt connections of the support bracket with the shock absorber strut on the cup. Install and tighten the given bolts in the sequence "1, 2, 3" and "4". When tightening, press the upper arm as far down as possible! Tighten bolt connection "1".

On vehicles with electronic damping control, ensure that the T-pin "arrow" is correctly secured in the groove of the shock absorber fork during installation. The silent blocks have a limited torsional working range. Therefore, the wheel suspension bolt connections should only be tightened when the vehicle is in the unloaded position or in the standard suspension position. Raise the wheel support with the suspension in the static position on vehicles with coil springs. On vehicles with automatic headlight range control, perform the basic setting of the headlights. After removing and installing the ride height sensor or loosening the rods on vehicles with electronic damping control, the adjustment position must be readjusted. After readjusting the adjustment position on vehicles with lane assist, the lane assist control unit "J759" must be recalibrated. Tighten the wheel. The wheel alignment angles must be adjusted.
