Removal
If present, remove cover 1 upwards (Fig. 1.17).
Release the air intake pipe 2 from the clamps (Fig. 1.17).
Engine 1.8-I.Disconnect the hoses shown in Figure 1.18.
Release the four clamps 1 (Fig. 1.19) and open the air filter cover. To make it easier to lift the cover, loosen the screw clamp 2 (Fig. 1.19) and disconnect the air pipe from the air filter housing.
Remove the air filter element.
Installation
Carefully clean the inside surfaces of the air filter cover and housing.
Install the filter element into the air filter housing.
Install the air filter cover and secure it with the clamps.
Connect the air pipe to the air filter housing and secure it with a screw clamp.
Engine 1.8-I.Connect the hoses shown in Figure 1.18.
Install and secure the air intake pipe 2 with clamps (Fig. 1.17).
If present, install casing 1 (Fig. 1.17).
