Removal
1. Remove the lower part of the oil pan (see the relevant chapter).
2. Disconnect the coolant hose from the water pump by removing clamp 1 (see illustration).

3. Unscrew the mounting bolts (see arrows in illustration 10.2) and remove the water pump cover.
4. Remove the shaft (see arrow in illustration) water pump.

5. Place a suitable container to collect any remaining engine oil.
6. Unscrew the mounting bolts and disconnect oil lines 1 and 2 (see illustration).

7. Unscrew bolts 1-3 and remove the oil intake pipe (see illustration).

8. Press the shaft 1 of the oil pump to compress the spring and, using suitable needle-nose pliers or 2 pincers, remove the shaft of the oil pump (see illustration).

9. Unscrew the bolts (see arrows in the illustration) fasteners and remove the oil pump.

Installation
The oil pump is installed in the reverse order of removal.
10. Make sure that the water pump shaft is firmly connected to the oil pump drive by turning the oil pump gear through the feed hole (see arrow in illustration) oil pump.
