The cars are equipped with two turbocharged V-shaped engines - a petrol (2.7 l, 230/250 hp with two turbochargers) and diesel (2.5 l, 150/155/180 hp).
In the spring of 2002, a 4.2-liter 8-cylinder gasoline engine with a capacity of 300 hp with an automatic 5-speed Tiptronic gearbox was added. It is also possible to equip the car with a manual 6-speed gearbox. The transmission uses a Torsen differential.
Thanks to the use of elastic pneumatic elements, the car's suspension allows changing the ground clearance in the range of 142-208 mm, while the automatic adjustment system depending on the speed was modernized in 2002 - a "manual" adjustment mode appeared.
Powerful bumpers with integrated protective elements and developed wheel arches with plastic overlays emphasize the off-road qualities of the Audi Allroad and protect the body when driving off-road and in minor collisions. A special interior concept was developed for the Audi Allroad. With high lateral support and excellent ergonomics, the seats reliably fix the driver both during sporty cornering and when driving off-road.
