Removal
7. Mark the position of the rear wheel on the hub with paint. This will allow you to install the balanced wheel in its original position during assembly.
8. Loosen the wheel mounting bolts. The car should stand on its wheels.
9. Jack up the rear of the car, place it on jack stands and, after unscrewing the mounting bolts, remove the rear wheel.
10. Unscrew screws 2, press back the threshold cover 3 and unscrew screw 5 located under the cover (see illustration).
6.10. Rear mudguard and its fastening:
1 - wheel arch lining
2 - self-tapping screw. Tightening torque 1 Nm
3 - rear door sill trim
4 - guide
5 - screw. Tightening torque 1 Nm
6 - mudguard
7 - screw. Tightening torque 1 Nm
8, 9 - double-sided self-adhesive tape
11. Remove the wheel arch trim 1 and remove any remaining adhesive mass (see illustration 6.10).
12. Disconnect the mudguard from the wing and remove it.
Installation
Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal.
