Removal



1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

2. Drain the oil.

3. Drain the coolant.

4. Remove the drive belts.

6. Unscrew the nuts and remove the engine cover.

7. Set piston N1 to TDC.

8. Remove the camshaft and fuel pump sprockets.

9. After unscrewing the bolts, remove the inner timing belt cover.

14. Remove the head bolts in the reverse order of tightening.

17. Remove the heat shield and unscrew the exhaust manifold nuts. Remove the manifold.



Installation



Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.

1. Install new exhaust manifold gaskets.
