Front crankshaft oil seal
Replacement
1. Remove the crankshaft sprocket.
2. Drill two holes in the gland, screw in the screws and remove the gland.
3. Clean the seal groove, lubricate the new seal with oil and install it in place.
Casing of a forward epiploon of a cranked shaft
Gasket replacement
1. Remove the crankshaft sprocket and oil pan.
2. Unscrew bolts and remove an epiploon casing.
3. Remove the old casing gasket, if necessary, remove the stuffing box.
4. Install a new casing gasket.
5. Install the gland housing in place and tighten the bolts.
Rear oil seal and rear oil seal housing
Replacement
1. Remove the gearbox.
2. Remove flywheel.
3. Remove the intermediate plate.
4. Remove the oil pan.
5. Unscrew bolts and remove a casing of a back epiploon.
6. Unscrew bolts and remove an epiploon casing.
7. Remove the old and install a new casing gasket.
8. Rear oil seals are usually supplied with a protective plastic cap.
9. Lubricate the new oil seal and install it with the casing.
10. Tighten the casing bolts.
