Bracket and headlight housing mounting diagram - vehicles up to model year 2012

Removal and installation the upper headlight housing mount - vehicles from the 2013 model year
Left: Release the wiring harness "6". Disconnect the rear cable link "5" of the hood lock from the cable link connection. Unscrew bolts "1, 3, 4". Remove fastener "2" by moving it backwards.
Installation in reverse order. Connect the rear hood latch cable to the cable connection.
Removal and installation the headlight housing mounting bracket
Remove the front trim. bumper. Remove the headlight housing. If present, remove the headlight washer nozzle. Disconnect the front impact sensor connector. Airbag. Unscrew the bolts "1, 2, 3". Unlock the locking bracket "5" "arrow" and remove the bracket "4" from the radiator frame. When replacing the bracket: remove the headlight housing mount, remove the front Airbag impact sensor.
Installation in reverse order. Insert the headlight housing retainer and screw in the bolts "arrows" to the stop. Insert the bracket on the wing and on the radiator frame and screw in the bolts "arrows" to the stop. Install the headlight washer nozzle. Install the bumper trim. Align the gaps of the bumper trim with the contours of the body. Gap size = gap uniformity. Tighten the bolts. Check the gaps again and repeat the adjustment if necessary. Install the headlight housing. Adjust the position of the headlights.
Removal and installation the headlight housing mount
Remove the headlight housing. Remove the corresponding front fender liner. wheel arch. Unscrew the "arrow" bolts. Remove the "1" fastener from the headlight housing.
Installation
Install the headlight housing mount and hand-tighten the bolts "arrows". Install the headlight housing. Loosen bolt "2" of holder "3" a few turns. Align the gaps of the headlight housing "1" with the contour of the body. Gap size = gap uniformity.
Tighten the "arrow" bolts until the headlight housing is flush with the outer edge of the wing.
Check the clearances again and, if necessary, repeat the clearance adjustment as described at the beginning. Install the fender liner. Adjust the position of the headlights.
