Removal and installation the "R" radio (MMI until calendar week 44/08)

The "R" (MMI) radio is located behind the left side trim of the trunk in the Infotainment bracket. Turn off the ignition. Insert the protective cap for the cable plugs "VAS 6223/9" "1" into the plug connector of the MOST bus "2".

Remove the bolts on the left and right "arrow" mounts. Remove the "R" "2" radio from the mount in a rearward direction.

On the system frame. infotainment "3" unscrew nuts "1", "2" and "4". Turn the system frame. infotainment "3" towards the luggage compartment. Disconnect any interfering plug connectors. Unlock and disconnect the plug connectors of the "R" radio.

Insert the protective cap for the cable plugs "VAS 6223/9" "1" into the plug connector of the MOST bus "2". Press both "arrow" latches on the left and right of the "R" radio and remove the "R" "arrow" radio from the system frame. infotainment.
