17.1. Stabilizer bar fastening
2. Remove the rear underbody trim.
3. On models with two mufflers, remove the rear section of the exhaust system (see Chapter 4).
4. On models with heavy duty suspension, remove the rock guard for the trapezoidal link.
5. Remove the bolts (1 in illustration 17.1), and then, holding the joint with an open-end wrench, unscrew the bolts (2). Unscrew the bolts (3) and remove the stabilizer bar with bushings.
6. Make sure that the rubber bushing is pressed against the flange (arrow on the illustration) to the stabilizer bar.

7. Tighten the bolts (3 in the illustration) by hand, then fully tighten the bolts (2 and 1). Lower the car onto its wheels and rock the suspension several times. Finally tighten the bolts (3).
8. Further installation is carried out in the reverse order of dismantling the components.
