Removal and installation the guide rod (Audi A4 B7)

1. Remove the suspension spring (see Section 12).

2. Remove the bolts (1 and 2 in the illustration) and remove the traction.



3. Install the rod, insert new bolts and tighten new nuts to 20 Nm.

4. Install the spring and tighten the rod fasteners completely.

5. After installation, check and, if necessary, adjust the rear wheel alignment angles (see Part D).
