MPI/MPFI is a very expensive injection system, the control unit of which additionally controls the electronic ignition.
The MPI/MPFI injection system control unit is capable of full diagnostics. This means that failures that occur during operation are stored in the computer's memory, the information in which is erased only after disconnecting the battery.
The genius of this system is that it also remembers those defects that only occur for a short time. Experience has shown that these are precisely the defects that are the hardest to detect.
After 50 engine starts, a defect that has appeared only once is automatically erased from the computer's memory.
