Light signal (Audi A4 B5)

Whether the ignition or headlights are on or off, the high beam headlight filament and high beam indicator light always flash when you pull the turn signal lever on the steering wheel. If the light signal does not work, although the headlights are on when the ignition is on, then:

Execution order

1. Remove the lever switch components (chapter Tools and instruments).

2. Check with a test lamp if there is voltage at both terminals of the 30 red wires to the lever switch element.

3. If yes, the light signal lever is faulty. Replace the switch element as a whole.
