The radiator fan is removed together with the rear cover.
1. Four-cylinder petrol and diesel engines. Remove the mounting bolts on the top of the rear fan cover.
2. Disconnect the fan motor power plug and release the wiring harness.
3. For diesel engines, disconnect the wires from the board with additional resistors, as well as from the ground (-) contact.
4. Release the fan cover from the retaining clips.
5. Five-cylinder engine. Remove the coolant expansion tank. Do not disconnect the coolant circulation hoses.
6. Remove the four mounting bolts on the rear fan cover.
7. Disconnect the fan power plug.
8. Remove the fan together with the protective cover.
9. Six-cylinder engine. The removal procedure is the same as for four-cylinder engines, but the wiring harness is released from the unscrewing holders on the left longitudinal beam. It is also necessary to disconnect the ground wire (-) and the wires from the board with additional resistors.
10. Remove the engine splash guard.
11. All motors. To remove the protective cover from the fan motor, you must unscrew the three mounting bolts.
