The radiator fan is removed together with the back cover.
1. Four-cylinder petrol as well as diesel engines. Remove the mounting bolts on the top of the rear fan cover.
2. Disconnect the fan motor power plug and release the wiring harness.
3. For diesel engines, disconnect the wires from the board with additional resistances, as well as from the contact «masses» (-).
4. Release the fan cover from the retaining brackets.
5. Five-cylinder engine. Remove the coolant expansion tank. Do not disconnect coolant circulation hoses.
6. Turn out four bolts of fastening on a back cover of the fan.
7. Disconnect the fan power plug.
8. Remove the fan along with the protective cover.
9. Six-cylinder engine. The removal procedure is the same as for four-cylinder engines, however, the wiring harness is released from the screw holders on the left stringer. You also need to disconnect the wire «masses» (-) and wires from the board with additional resistances.
10. Remove the engine mudguard.
11. All engines. In order to remove the protective cover from the fan motor, it is necessary to unscrew the three mounting bolts.
