Installation of mirrors

Before starting your trip, you should set your rearview mirrors correctly so that you can see to the rear at all times.

Interior rearview mirror with adjustable position to protect against glare

When the mirror is in its normal position, the lever on its bottom side should be facing forward.

Using this lever, the mirror can be moved to a different position, in which the headlights of the vehicle behind will not blind the driver.

Exterior rear view mirrors

The outside rear-view mirrors should be adjusted so that only a small part of the rear side of your own vehicle is visible

Convex mirrors increase the field of view. However, objects in them appear smaller. Therefore, such mirrors are only of limited use for assessing the distance to vehicles following behind.

Aspherical exterior mirrors have a multi-convex surface and increase the viewing sector more than conventional convex mirrors. However, they are also only of limited use for assessing the distance to vehicles behind.

Manually adjustable exterior mirrors

The external mirrors with manual adjustment are set by rotating the corresponding handles. When the upper handle is rotated, the reflective surface of the mirror rotates around the horizontal axis.

When the lower handle is rotated, the reflective surface of the mirror rotates around the vertical axis.

Electrically adjustable exterior mirrors

The adjustment of the electrically operated exterior mirrors can only be performed after the ignition is switched on by pressing the corresponding arrow on the switch surface

First you need to select a mirror by pressing the L or R button.

The L button controls the outside mirror on the left side.

The R button controls the outside mirror on the right side.

The reflective surface of the mirror is rotated to the desired position by pressing the corresponding side of the flat switch with four arrows applied to it.

Heated exterior mirrors

When the rear window heater is turned on, the outside rearview mirrors are heated.
