The burglar alarm is designed to prevent burglary attempts and car theft. In case of penetration into the car, the system starts to give sound and light alarms.
With the vehicle locked, the system monitors the following objects:
- underhood space;
- trunk;
- doors;
- radio;
- starter.
The anti-theft alarm does not apply to the door glass and sunroof.
The burglar alarm is automatically activated when the vehicle is locked with the key inserted in any front door or trunk lid, or from the central locking remote control, and is deactivated when the vehicle is unlocked. The system enters guard mode approximately 30 seconds after the vehicle is locked.
The activation of the system, as well as the closing of the doors, hood and trunk, is confirmed by a short beep after the vehicle is locked.
If the sound signal does not sound, then it is necessary to check, and if necessary, close correctly, the doors, hood and trunk. If such a check is performed after the system has been activated, it will confirm with an audible signal that the vehicle is properly closed.
It is recommended that before leaving the car, inspect the interior and make sure that all the buttons for locking the lock switches on the doors are recessed. If this is not the case, then the procedure for locking the car must be repeated.
The anti-theft system is triggered when you try to open the door, hood, trunk or turn on the ignition. When the anti-theft system is triggered, an acoustic signal and a light alarm are activated, which work for a certain time. It is not possible to start the engine during this period. If, after the termination of the supply of these signals, a second attempt is made to access, the sound and light alarm will turn on again.
Note: On vehicles with remote control of the central lock, turning on and off the anti-theft system and with the driver's door open is accompanied by an audible signal. However, the engine cannot be started in this case. If the engine does not start, then you need to press the button on the remote control again.
