A is the main key
This key fits all locks.
Main key with backlight
To turn on the backlight, press and hold the round button in the center of the key handle.
On vehicles with remote control locks, each of the main keys is equipped with an infrared emitter.
Replacing the battery or bulb in the key
1. Inserting a small coin into the slot on the side of the key handle, pry and remove its upper part.
2. Replace light bulb or battery.
B - additional key
This key will only fit door locks, fuel filler flap and ignition switch.
C - spare key
This key fits all locks. In some export versions, a spare key is attached to a branded card confirming the car warranty and is handed along with it when the car is sold.
The named warranty card with the spare key, or the key itself, must be stored separately in such a way that it can be used without problems, for example, if the master key is lost.
D - tag
The car key number is stamped on the plastic tag. You can use this number to request a duplicate key from your AUDI dealer. In this case, you should indicate which specific key is in question.
The tag should be stored separately and in a safe place out of the reach of unauthorized persons.
