For perfect operation, the fuel filter should be drained every 15,000 km and replaced every 30,000 km.

Draining sludge

Draining sludge

Loosen the mounting bolt "A".

Raise valve "B" and drain 100 cm³ of liquid into the vessel.

Tighten the mounting bolt to 10 Nm.

Check the fuel system for leaks. To do this, start the engine and let it idle. After pressing the gas pedal several times, the fuel should flow without bubbles through the transparent pipe.

Filter replacement

Unscrew the fuel lines

Unscrew the mounting clamp.

If so, disconnect the plug from the water deflector sensor and remove the fuel filter.

If a water deflector sensor is installed, unscrew it. Check the sealing ring for damage. Replace if necessary. Screw the sensor into the new filter.

Insert the new fuel filter and tighten. If necessary, connect the electrical wires.

Screw the fuel lines with a force of 10 Nm. Do not mix up the inlet and outlet.

Check the fuel system for leaks.
