The air filter element should be changed every 30,000 km. In case of heavy dustiness, change more often.
Removal
Pull out the air filter.
Open the clamps on the filter housing.
Lift the top of the air filter.
Pull the filter element slightly, release it from the bottom of the housing and remove it to the side.
Wipe the filter housing with a cloth.
Knock out the element with the dirty side down. Replace the oily element.
Caution: Do not clean the filter with gasoline or oil.
Installation
Insert the new element into the housing from the side with the red stiffening rib facing up. Press firmly on the reinforcing bar.
Install the top part of the filter and secure with clamps.
Attach the air filter.
