Maintenance of manual transmission (Audi 80 B3)

Perform the following procedures at the intervals given in "Technical maintenance" at the beginning of the guide.

Checking for gearbox leaks

1. Raise the front of the vehicle and support it on axle stands. Or place the vehicle on an inspection pit.

2. Check for gearbox oil leaks or visible damage. Pay particular attention to the drive flange seals and replace them if necessary.
