The cylinder block is sleeveless, cast iron. In the lower part of the cylinder block, there are five supports for the crankshaft main bearing shells. The main bearing caps are finished together with the block and are therefore not interchangeable.
Clearance between piston and cylinder for new parts, mm: 0.03.
Maximum allowable clearance (when worn), mm: 0.08.
Piston and cylinder dimensions
The cylinder diameter is measured by a bore gauge in three zones both in the longitudinal and transverse directions of the engine at a distance of 10 mm from the upper and lower edges and in the middle.
