Raise the rear of the car, place it on stands and remove the rear wheel.

Remove the cap, cotter pin and toothed stopper.

Select the clearance in the hub bearings by firmly tightening the hub hex nut while rotating the brake drum.

Loosen the hub nut slightly so that you can use a screwdriver to simply press your finger and turn the locking washer without applying significant force.

If the slot in the nut does not match the hole for the cotter pin, tighten the nut to the nearest hole for the cotter pin.

Replace the toothed stopper.

Secure the hub nut with a new cotter pin.

Install the hub cap, having first put 10 g of consistent grease into it.

Put the wheel back in place.

Put the wheel back in place.
