Fuel cooler



1. The fuel cooler installation details are shown in the illustration.

1, 2 - Coolant hose;
3 - Fuel return hose to the tank;
4 - Fuel return hose from the filter;
5 - Fuel cooler;
6/7 - Nut/bolt. 8 Nm;
8 - Bracket;
9 - Spring clamp.


2. Open the expansion tank to relieve pressure in the engine cooling system.

3. Remove the fuel filter fastener from the bracket, but do not disconnect the fuel hoses from the filter (see Section 13).

4. Disconnect the fuel return hose (3 in the illustration) from the fuel cooler and move the fuel filter to the side.

Clamp the coolant hoses (1 and 2) and disconnect them from the cooler. Disconnect the return fuel hose (6) from the fuel cooler, unscrew the bolt (5) and remove the cooler (4) from the bracket.

5. Installation is carried out in reverse order. Finally, adjust the coolant level.

7. Drain the coolant (see chapter 3).

8. Remove the front bumper cover (see Section 10).

10. Remove the bolts (2-5 in the illustration) and remove the fuel cooling radiator, disconnect it from the hoses (1 and 6).
