Removal
1. The oil pump is located in front of the cylinder block and is driven by the crankshaft.
2. Remove the poly V-belt.
3. Remove the timing belt.
Warning: After this, do not turn the crankshaft and camshaft any further.
4. Remove the lower and upper parts of the oil pan.
5. Unscrew the timing belt tension roller.
6. Unscrew the timing belt guide roller.
7. Unscrew the threaded plug on the right above the tension roller.
8. Unscrew the oil pump.
Installation
1. Replace the oil pump sealing ring. Lightly lubricate the sealing edge and the outer surface of the sealing ring with oil. Press the sealing ring flush.
2. Replace the oil pump only as an assembly.
3. Replace the oil pump sealing gasket, attach the pump and tighten the bolts to 10 Nm. When installing the oil pump, watch the crankshaft pulley.
4. Tighten the cleaned threaded plug over the tension roller to a torque of 45 Nm.
5. Tighten the timing belt tension roller to a torque of 45 Nm.
6. Tighten the timing belt guide roller to a torque of 20 Nm.
7. Tighten the upper and lower parts of the oil pan to a torque of 10 Nm.
8. Install the timing belt.
9. Install the poly V-belt.
10. Fill with oil, insert the oil level indicator.
11. Perform a test drive and check the oil pan for leaks.
