Front suspension anti-roll bar (Audi A6 C4)

Removal

1. When removing the anti-roll bar, the vehicle must be on the ground.



2. Loosen the mounting bolts and move the tube with wires to the side if necessary.



3. Loosen the mounting bolts and nuts securing the anti-roll bar to the body. Remove the fasteners.





4. Remove the mounting nuts and washers and rear bushings.





5. Remove the anti-roll bar from the vehicle.

Installation

Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.



1. Install the mounting bushings onto the anti-roll bar rims.





2. Install the mounting clamps onto the bushings and tighten the mounting bolts and nuts.







3. Tighten the anti-roll bar to control arm nuts to the specified torque of stage 1 and further tighten to the required angle.



4. Tighten the mounting clamp nuts to the specified torque.
