Tightening torque of the mounting frame for the central control unit for comfort systems "J393"
Tighten the arrow nuts to a torque of 3 Nm.

Tightening torque of the mounting frame for the control unit for special vehicles "J608"
Tighten bolts "1" and "2" to a torque of 3 Nm. Tighten nut "4" to a torque of 3 Nm.

Removal and installation the central comfort control unit "J393"
When replacing a used one, select the Guided search for faults mode. or the "Replacement" function for the corresponding used part. Open the right side trim panel of the trunk. Disconnect the "arrow" clamps and remove the center, used syst. Comfort "J393" "pos. 7" from the mounting frame. Carefully disconnect connectors "4" and "6" and antenna connector "3". Disconnect plug connectors "1, 2, 5".
To disconnect the el. press the locking button "1" of the plug connection, turn the locking bracket in the "direction of the arrow" and disconnect the plug connection. Remove center, used syst. Comfort "J393".
Installation in reverse order.
Removal and installation fuse box F "SF" in the luggage compartment on the right
Disconnect the ground wire from the battery with the ignition off. Open the trunk side trim lid on the right. Unlock clamps "3" in the "direction of the arrow" and push fuse blocks "2" back out of fuse box F. Unscrew nut "4". Remove fuse box F "pos. 1" from the body. Disconnect the fuse box from the relay box. Remove relay "5" and control units.
Unlock the "arrow" clamps and push relay block "2" back out of holder "1". Remove fuse block F; to do this, unfasten the cable clamps, if present.
Installation in reverse order. Install fuse box F "1", ensuring that guides "2" are properly secured in the "arrow" mounts. Connect the battery.
