Removal and installation the central comfort control unit "J393"



When replacing a used one, select the Guided search for faults mode. or the "Replacement" function for the corresponding used part. Open the right side trim panel of the trunk. Disconnect the "arrow" clamps and remove the center, used syst. Comfort "J393" "pos. 7" from the mounting frame. Carefully disconnect connectors "4" and "6" and antenna connector "3". Disconnect plug connectors "1, 2, 5".



When replacing a used one, select the Guided search for faults mode. or the «Replacement» function…


To disconnect the el. press the locking button "1" of the plug connection, turn the locking bracket in the "direction of the arrow" and disconnect the plug connection. Remove center, used syst. Comfort "J393".

Disconnect the ground wire from the battery with the ignition off. Open the trunk side trim lid on the right. Unlock clamps "3" in the "direction of the arrow" and push fuse blocks "2" back out of fuse box F. Unscrew nut "4". Remove fuse box F "pos. 1" from the body. Disconnect the fuse box from the relay box. Remove relay "5" and control units.
