Replacing the cabin filter of the climate control system, removing and installing the cover of its housing (Audi A4 B7)

1. Remove the windshield fairing cover rubber seal in the direction of the arrows (see illustration or illustration 5.2 Chapter 2), and then remove the cowl cover (1). With the cover removed, clean the gutter and drain pipe from dirt and leaves.



2. Release from the clamps (And in the illustration) cover (B) of the cabin filter and pull it towards the front of the vehicle. Remove the filter element (C) from the filter housing.



3. Clean the cabin filter housing and install the new filter element so that the arrow (D) points in the direction of air flow (down).

4. Close the cabin filter cover and make sure it is securely fastened.

5. Install the windshield fairing cover.
