Note: The description of unlocking and locking the door locks as part of a single lock is given in Section 1.
Doors
Please note: It is not possible to unlock the doors from the inside if the main lock is locked from the outside.
To open an unlocked door from the outside, pull its outside handle.
To open any one door from the inside after locking the main lock from the passenger compartment, either unlock the main lock (all doors are unlocked) and pull the door handle (above the armrest), or pull the door handle twice: first the door unlocks, and then it opens.
To lock any one door from the inside or lock a single lock (all doors are unlocked), or lock the door using an individual lock. To lock the passenger door, open it, remove the lock plug (see illustration 2.1), insert the mechanical key at a 90° angle to the door trim and slide it inside the door. A passenger door locked in this way cannot be opened from the outside. To unlock the door, pull the inside opening handle twice, or if the child lock is locked, (see subsection below), after this, pull the outer door opening handle additionally.

Trunk lid (sedan models)
To unlock/lock the trunk lid, you usually need to use the remote control (see illustration 1.2). To open the unlocked luggage compartment, press the handle (see illustration 2.2) and pull the lid up at the same time. To close the lid, simply pull it down and slam it shut.
Note: After closing the trunk lid, pull it up to make sure it is securely locked.
Individual luggage compartment lid lock is provided (see illustration 2.2).
2.2. Trunk lid opening handle and lock cylinder
When the key is turned clockwise to the horizontal position and the key is removed, the luggage compartment lock is removed from the control of the single lock and remains permanently locked. In this case, the luggage compartment can be unlocked either by pressing the key (2 in illustration 1.2), or by means of a single lock, after returning the lock slot to the vertical position.
Turning the key counterclockwise to the horizontal position unlocks the luggage compartment and the key cannot be removed from the lock. To return the luggage compartment lock to the control of the single lock, return the lock slot to the vertical position.
Additional rear door lock lock (child lock)
The rear doors are equipped with an additional locking device to prevent children from opening them while in the rear seat. To prevent the rear door from being opened from the inside, turn the key in the child lock counterclockwise (In illustration 2.3). Now it can only be opened from the outside. To open the door again from the inside, open it from the outside and turn the child lock clockwise (A) to its original position.
