Withdrawal
1. Remove the tie rod end, unscrew the lock nut, refer to Section Removal and installation of a tip of steering draft.
2. Remove the tie rod cover.
3. Open clamp and hose clamp (arrows) protective cover.
4. Remove the protective cover.
Warning: If the case has been damaged for a long time, then the consequence of this may be dirt getting into the mechanism. Dirt combined with grease acts like an emery paste, destroying the steering mechanism. In this case, as well as if there are traces of rust on the gear rack, it is necessary to hand over the gear rack for repair (service station work).
Installation
1. When installing the protective boot, make sure that the small diameter of the boot fits into the groove of the steering rod and the boot does not twist.
2. Use a new clamp and hose clamp.
3. Reinstall the tie rod cover.
4. Install the tie rod end, refer to Section Removal and installation of a tip of steering draft.
