Removal and installation the pocket on the driver's side (Audi A4 B6)

1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery cable.

Warning: Follow the instructions in Section Replacing the battery.

2. Using a plastic wedge or screwdriver, remove the cover (1) on the side of the instrument panel and unscrew the screw (2).



3. Remove 2 screws (3) from the bottom.

4. Pull back the pocket (4) at the top of the instrument panel and remove it.

5. Disconnect the diagnostic socket.

6. Disconnect the footwell light connector and, if necessary, disconnect the auxiliary speaker connector.
