1. Remove the tip from one of the spark plugs, separate the ignition coil, and unscrew the spark plug.
2. Reattach the tip to the spark plug. Then place the spark plug on the cylinder block so that it has reliable contact with the housing and cannot be thrown off by the vibrating engine.
3. Remove the connectors from all injectors. If this is not done, unburned fuel may enter the exhaust system and damage the catalytic converter.
4. Ask an assistant to start the engine.
5. If powerful sparks jump at the end of the wire or at the spark plug electrode, the ignition current is present.
6. If sparks do not jump, first inspect the ignition system. If no faults are found, check the power supply to the ignition system.
