Carpets and mats should be vacuumed regularly. If they are clogged with dirt, remove them from the interior for cleaning and scratching and reinstall only clean and dry. Seats and protective interior panels are wiped with a damp cloth. If there are stains on them, use cleaning compounds and a soft brush to remove.
Headrests are cleaned in the same way. When using liquid formulations for cleaning, do not overwet the surfaces to be cleaned. Moisture collects in seams and sponge linings, leaving streaks and causing rot and musty odors. Damp interior should be dried in the open air by removing carpets. Do not leave oil or other electric radiators in the cabin for this purpose.
