Removal

All self-locking nuts, as well as the bolts securing the wishbone to the ball joint, must be replaced with new ones.

1. Purchase new self-locking nuts and bolts.

2. Place the front of the vehicle on jack stands.

3. Remove the wishbone, choosing the most convenient removal option: with or without a ball joint.

4. Unscrew the inner mounting nuts of the transverse arm.

5. Remove the mounting bolts and remove the wishbone.

If the inner mount bearings of the lever are worn out, press in new ones in their place before installing the lever.

Installation

6. Install and secure the wishbone, depending on the removal option, either on the ball joint or with a clamp bolt on the hub. Do not tighten the nuts.

7. Lower the vehicle.

8. Tighten the wishbone mounting nuts to a torque of 40 Nm, then turn them an additional ¼ turn (90°).

Caution! Tightening of the wishbone mounting nuts must be performed with the vehicle standing on its wheels. Otherwise, the wishbone will be installed under tension.
