Removal



Disconnect the ground cable from the battery.

In the engine compartment on the right, remove the cover from the water collection compartment.

Check the free movement of the fan impeller in the installed position.

Remove the glove compartment drawer and the trim at the top of the footwell in front of the drawer.

Press the tongue, see arrow in the picture, with a screwdriver. Turn the fan clockwise and remove.

Remove any foreign objects that have fallen into the air duct.

Note: If the fan does not work in all switch positions, then the resistance has usually failed. In this case, replace the connection board included in the kit.




To do this, press down the retaining clamp and remove the connection board downwards.

Installation



Place and clamp the connection board. The connection board should sit tightly on the case, otherwise secure it with a self-tapping screw.

Place the fan and turn it to the left until it clicks into place.

Then proceed in the reverse order of removal.
