1. From inside the vehicle, disconnect the return spring from the brake pedal and booster push rod clamp. Remove the lower instrument panel, if necessary.
2. Remove the bracket, remove the pin that secures the booster pusher bar to the pedal.
3. Remove the bracket at the end of the hinge axis, remove the pedal.
4. Clean the parts, check their condition. Temporarily install the pedal, check the bushing for wear. Check that the return spring and mounting brackets are not damaged. Check the wear on the rubber foot pad. Replace parts as needed.
5. Installation is carried out in the reverse order. Lubricate the pivot pin with multipurpose lubricant. Make sure the pedal return spring is seated on the pedal hanger with the bent end. The straight end should be placed in the hole in the booster push rod clamp.
